Sarah Di Iorio

Choreographer at DaCo 2025
Sarah Di Iorio is a movement artist holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Toronto Metropolitan University. She has performed at renowned dance festivals such as Jacob’s Pillow and Le Festival des Arts de Saint-Sauveur, and has toured with Red Sky Performance across North America. Her newest creation, Meet You At The Surface, made its debut in the Night Shift 2024 festival, co-presented by Citadel + Compagnie and Fall for Dance North. Most recently Sarah performed in ProArteDanza’s, The 9th!, touring the show throughout Ontario. She is currently working as a performer in Kaeja d’Dance’s, Resistance-142466. Previously, she has showcased her talent in works by Angela Blumberg, Hanna Kiel, Canadian Stage and Dusk Dances. Sarah is enthusiastic about sharing her passion for art, and has done so through teaching at multiple performing arts high schools across the GTA, as well as choreographing in residency for professional and pre-professional artists in Toronto.

Lukas Malkowski

Lukas Malkowski (he/they) is a CODA (Child of Deaf Adult), is a performance maker and Aquarius based between Germany and Canada. He has performed in John Wick 4, CTM Festival(Berlin), Babylon Berlin, Rodeo Festival(Munich), FestivalTransAmérique(Montreal), and the Schrittmacher Festival(Holland). He began dancing at Rosedale Heights School of the Arts, later obtaining his BFA in Dance Performance at Toronto Metropolitan University. Embodying physics, voice, and Sign; he has choreographed full length works, ambient sets, music videos, and films with Naishi Wang, Sam Slater (Joker OST), LBT, and 7th Plain (Luke Slater) at CTM Festival, FestivalTransAmérique, and the Schrittmacher Festival. Flomentum: his teaching practice is driven by visual, tactile embodiments of flight physics. Lukas has received a Dora Mavor Moore Award(2024), dance: made in Canada audience choice award(2023), Recherchestipendium Darstellende Kunst(2022), Tanzpraxis Emerging Artist scholarship(2022/3), and the Hnatyshyn Developing Artist Grant(2016).

Bennett Richardson

Raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Bennett Richardson is an interpreter and maker based in Toronto. While he actively pursues his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance Dance at Toronto Metropolitan University, he strives to source opportunity and connection through movement within his community, which led him to explore a relationship with choreography. His work focuses on self-sourced concepts that aim to reflect the human experience organically through both appreciative and critical lenses. Through this medium of creation, Bennett has found a love for movement composition and direction which he hopes will take him down diverse and unknown avenues in the future
